Paying homage to our heritage, Transylvanian Roots is a visual representation of our ancestors with their rich folk art and textile history.
Once an independent country, Transylvania was for centuries a melting pot of peoples, cultures, traditions and religions, from Saxons, Hungarians and Romanians to Szekely, Ashkenazi Jews, Armenians and Gypsies. Surrounded by mountains and forests, united in their communion with nature and their love for the abundant land around them, nobles and villagers alike grew fruits and vegetables, picked flowers and hunted wild boar and roebuck, alongside their loyal hounds.
