Truly unique and charming, the range of patterns features hand drawn Ikat motifs specific to Aegean culture alongside maritime stripes, charming maritime motifs and authentic Greek elements reimagined by MINDTHEGAP's talented artists in shades of blue, red and white with touches of sunshine yellow. The vast lighting collection includes table lamps, floor lamps, pendant lights and fringed and trimmed shades in a selection of irresistible patterns.
"Surrounded by the captivating mountains and forests of Transylvania, our ancestors were poor in resources but rich in inspiration. Traditional country homes were always dressed jubilantly in embroidered textiles to soften wooden furniture, whilst lighting was rich in decoration and adornment with patterned fabrics and tassel fringes used to brighten the dark winter nights. Times may have changed, but for me, decorative lighting is key to bringing warmth and an enchanting glow to the interior. I love to layer lighting within a space, with reading lamps, table lamps, floor lamps and overhead pendant lights combined to create a rich and inviting interior that also delivers practical lighting at every level". explains Founder Stefan Ormenisan.
